Educational Qualification

Engineering Course Group:

Candidates seeking admission under the Engineering Course Group must have successfully completed a minimum three-year diploma or a two-year lateral/entry diploma examination in any branch of Engineering and Technology. They should have secured at least 45% marks, while candidates belonging to reserved categories must have a minimum of 40% marks.

OR Engineering Course Details:

Alternatively, candidates can qualify if they have passed a B.Sc. degree from a recognized university as defined by the UGC, with a minimum of 45% marks (or 40% for reserved category candidates) and must have cleared the 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.

Candidates who have completed a D.Voc. stream in the same or an allied sector are also eligible for admission. To ensure that students from diverse academic backgrounds can achieve the desired learning outcomes of the engineering program, universities will provide suitable bridge courses, which may include Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Drawing, and other foundational subjects as needed.

Para Medical Degree Course Group:

Candidates applying for the Para Medical Degree Course must have successfully completed a two-year Para Medical Diploma Course recognized either by the Government of Bihar or the Government of India. This qualification is required for enrollment through this competitive examination into the Para Medical Degree Course.

Candidates who are appearing in the final examination of the two-year Para Medical Diploma course are also eligible to apply. However, it is mandatory that they have successfully passed the course by the time of the interview or counseling.

Candidates who have completed the Para Medical Diploma course will be considered eligible for enrollment in the second year of a higher Para Medical Degree program related to the course from which they graduated. If a higher Para Medical Degree course is not available for the specific stream of the candidate’s diploma, such candidates will not be eligible to appear in this lateral entrance examination.

Pharmacy Degree Course Group:
